Top Elected Officials Join Agriculture and Energy Leaders to
Promote New Economic Opportunities for Rural Communities

Feb 10-11 Boise Conference to Feature Nationwide Cast of Experts

BOISE, ID -- As the Northwest struggles under a difficult economy, the region's premier clean energy conference has joined forces with one of the region's most important agricultural events to focus on bringing fresh revenue streams to rural communities. The combined 3rd Annual Harvesting Clean Energy Conference and the Idaho Ag Summit will provide Northwest agricultural and energy communities a forum for building new partnerships and the nuts-n-bolts instruction needed for the region to become a major clean energy producers.

At the conference, top elected officials including both of Idaho's U.S. Senators and its Governor will join federal energy and rural development officials, agriculture leaders, utilities and alternative energy experts and developers from around the nation February 10-11 in Boise, Idaho. This is the first time ever the two leading industry events have combined their efforts to allow their constituents to gain a practical and in-depth understanding of how agriculture and energy opportunities intertwine and can produce new revenue streams.
